Associate Membership

Associate Membership is right for you if you are a site manager, property manager, asset manager, or facilities manager; you manage apartments, office buildings, retail properties, industrial properties, or homeowners associations; you work for a property management company, for a REIT, or within a corporate real estate department; you manage property for the government or military; you provide leasing, maintenance, accounting, marketing, human resources, or training support in a real estate management company or department; you are a student interested in a career in property management; and if you are not eligible or ready to pursue an IREM® credential. Associate Membership is available to U.S. applicants only and suppliers, vendors, and service providers to the real estate management industry are not eligible.

Dues are based on the date that you submit your application as follows: January-March: $225, April-June: $170, July - September: $115, October - December: $60. Associate membership is available to U.S. applicants only.

Member Directory

Since 2019, our Member Directory is a searchable database. Previously, our Chapter published a comprehensive directory in the fall of each year, with copies distributed to members at the Annual Installation in December.

Designations and Accreditations

As members of IREM® we are recognized as experts in the field of Real Estate Property Management. The CPM® designation, ARM® and ACoM accreditations are sought after attributes when there is a employment position to fill. Likewise the AMO® accreditation is a sought after attribute when owners and investors are looking for an organization to manage their properties.

Certified Property Manager® (CPM®)

The CPM® is the premier real estate management designation for property and asset managers, especially those who manage large residential, commercial, retail or industrial properties, or mixed portfolios. Dues: $145.

Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM®)

The ARM® certification is the industry's most respected certification for specialists in residential real estate management whose responsibility is primarily at the site level, including conventional or subsidized apartments, homeowners' or condominium associations, and single-family homes or mobile home parks. Dues: $90.

Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM )

The ACoM certification is awarded to those who meet the standards set by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM® ) for commercial property management professionals. IREM® ’s newest certification specifically for small to mid-size portfolio commercial real estate managers, the Accredited Commercial Manager certification is your ticket to new opportunities. Dues are $90/year.

Accredited Management Organization® (AMO®)

The AMO® is the mark of distinction among real estate management firms. The AMO® accreditation lets owners and investors know that your organization is held to the highest standards in our industry and that your organization has the education, experience, and ethics to manage their properties while maximizing the value of their investments. Earning the AMO® accreditation places your organization with an elite group of management firms and tells owners, investors, and clients that their properties are in the best possible hands.
